This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through the Site, how we use and protect it, and the choices available to you. We view privacy not as a compliance afterthought but as part of the legal infrastructure that supports how we do business — and we hold our own Site to the same standard we recommend to our clients.
By using the Site, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information You Provide Directly
When you submit an inquiry, request a consultation, or otherwise contact us through a form on the Site, we collect the information you choose to provide, which may include:
Your name
Email address

The content of your message or inquiry
We collect only what is submitted through our contact/intake form. We do not currently sell products, process online payments, or maintain a client portal through the Site.
1.2 Information Collected Automatically
The Site is hosted on the Squarespace platform. Squarespace, acting as our hosting and analytics provider, automatically collects certain technical information from visitors through cookies and similar tracking technologies, including:
IP address and approximate geographic location
Browser type, device type, and operating system
Pages viewed, referring/exit pages, and time spent on the Site
Date and time of visit
This information is aggregated and used to understand how visitors use the Site, diagnose technical issues, and improve content and navigation. Squarespace's own data practices are described in the Squarespace Privacy Policy, available at squarespace.com/privacy, which governs the technical and analytics data it processes on our behalf.
2. How We Use Information
We use the information described above to:
Respond to inquiries and consultation requests
Communicate with prospective and current clients about our services
Maintain, secure, and improve the Site
Understand aggregate visitor trends and Site performance
Comply with applicable legal obligations
We do not use information submitted through the Site for automated decision-making, and we do not use it to train any artificial intelligence model.
3. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
Cookies are small data files stored on your device that help a website function and allow us to understand visitor activity in aggregate. The Site uses cookies placed by Squarespace for hosting, security, and analytics purposes. You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings; disabling cookies may affect certain Site functionality but will not prevent you from viewing our content or contacting us directly.
The Site does not currently respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals, as no uniform industry standard for such signals has been adopted.
4. How We Share Information
We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information collected through the Site. We may share information in the following limited circumstances:
With service providers who host, maintain, or support the Site (currently Squarespace), solely to operate the Site
If required by law, subpoena, court order, or other legal process
To protect the rights, property, or safety of DSA, our clients, or others
In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of business assets, subject to reasonable confidentiality safeguards
Information you submit through the contact form to inquire about our services is reviewed only by DSA personnel and is not shared with third-party marketers.
5. Data Retention
We retain information submitted through the Site for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your inquiry, maintain business records, and comply with applicable legal, accounting, or reporting obligations. Automatically collected analytics data is retained according to Squarespace's standard retention practices.
6. Data Security
We use commercially reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, including those built into the Squarespace platform, to protect information submitted through the Site. No method of transmission or storage over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Children's Privacy
The Site is intended for business and professional audiences and is not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, please contact us so we can delete it.
8. Your Choices
You may decline to submit information through the Site's contact form, in which case we will simply be unable to respond to an inquiry you have not made. You may request that we delete information you have previously submitted by contacting us using the information in Section 11 below, and we will honor reasonable requests to the extent consistent with our legal and recordkeeping obligations.
This Policy is written to reflect current Texas and general U.S. legal standards applicable to a professional services website. It is not intended to confer rights arising under the California Consumer Privacy Act, the EU General Data Protection Regulation, or similar non-U.S. or state-specific privacy statutes, and should be revisited if the Site's audience or data practices expand to trigger those frameworks.
9. Third-Party Links
The Site may contain links to third-party websites. This Policy applies only to the Site and does not extend to the privacy practices of any third-party site you may visit through a link. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any site you visit.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal or operational reasons. The “Effective Date” above indicates when this Policy was last revised. Material changes will be reflected by posting the updated Policy on the Site.
